It is a great pleasure to announce that the registration for 16th Conference of the Wet Organic Archaeological Materials Working Group is now open. The conference takes place between 15^th-19^th September, 2025 in Göteborg, Sweden. Our host is director Sara Roberts and her team at Studio Västsvensk Konservering and colleagues at Göteborg Universitetet.

The conference is a great opportunity for different specialists within the heritage sector as well as others with an interest in wet organic archaeological materials to exchange ideas and discuss all aspects relating to the excavation, conservation, analysis, display and storage of these very fragile and fascinating materials.

Participants can attend in person or virtually. 

Early bird registration till July 1st, 2025.
