The 6th International Conference will be held in Falun, Sweden, from the 11th to the 14th of June 2024. It is organized by the Historical Metallurgy Group at Jernkontoret. Jernkontoret is the Swedish Iron and Steel producers’ association. The Historical Metallurgy Group involve both archaeological and historical documentation and research as well as cultural heritage conservation relating to the production of metals.The focus is on the development and history of the iron and steel industry and cover all historical epochs in a Nordic scope.
